Hi. New Here. In 2019 January a CT scan showed some lesions 1 in the kidney and 1 in the liver. The Kidney was cancer and they did an ablation. They spent 6 months running every test they could think of to find out what was in the liver but it was inconclusive. Even the biopsy which was done at the same time as an ablation, came back as inconclusive. They could not get it to wash out in the Mri. So they decided it was Hcc and had the PA sit us down and tell us the bad news. As we were finishing up, the Dr burst into the room and said he conferred with other Dr.s and because I did not have Cirrhosis that it was not HCC. But to be sure they would scan in 6 months. January 2020 scan showed a lesion similar to the one in the previous and they scheduled an MRI for 6 months later. No call from the hospital so in Sept. I called to get results. Dr. I worked with no longer works there and no one has gotten results or knows anything about the MRI. I get a copy of the MRI I drop it off at the hospital. No Reply from the hospital so I call again and ask for whoever took over my case. Finally, They connect me to the physician's secretary I ask about the Mri and he says he will check and call me back. A few days later I get a call from the secretary and he tells me the kidney is fine. I tell him I was the liver that had a new lesion, not the Kidney. 10 minutes later he called me back to inform me that everything looked good. When has anybody been able to get records and read an MRI in a hospital in 10 minutes? I don't think anyone at the hospital ever looked at the CD I had delivered to them. When I said I wanted to pick it up, it took them 4 days to find it. How do I get a radiologist to read it and get the history?

Honestly it sounds like you need a new doctor, nobody is giving you the attention you need. I'd want to at least know that the information was truly looked at. I'd find another opinion elsewhere.
