Eisai, a mid-sized pharmaceutical, Tokyo-based company (US headquarters in New Jersey), prides itself on being a research-based, human health care company. They genuinely care about patients. I spoke at their annual sales meeting this spring and what I said about clinical trials resonated so much that they want to hear more.
They would like to bring together a group of HCC patients, survivors, and caregivers to discuss how to improve clinical trial design for patients. You don't need to be an expert in clinical trials; your experience and story are a form of expertise. The event would be about 1/2 day in New Jersey. All travel including hotel, airfare, and transportation is paid for, plus you receive an honorarium and payment for travel time.
