Fluctuations in blood pressure readings

Hi everyone,

My blood pressure especially diastolic seems to fluctuates in the higher side at evening, my average home readings for a week is 108 78 with 92 to 122 systolic range and 66 to 91 diastolic any idea of what is happening here?

I’m wondering if you are comparing like with like?

Unless otherwise advised by a health professional, take your blood pressure at roughly the same time each day and a couple of hours after a meal. Sit quietly with the cuff on for ten minutes. Close your eyes and take three slow breaths. Take three readings and average them (or the last two if the first is significantly different). No talking during any of this.

If your readings are inconsistent with each other (and of course you are taking the medicines at the same time each day) then a chat with a professional might be indicated. However, if I understand your post correctly your range isn’t all,that great.

My readings always higher in evening - I take meds before bed so maybe it’s because bit less BP med left in system. I don’t worry about it any more.
