Betablockers/Labetalol !! Advice please🤍

I just wanted to know if anyone had experienced anything while taking beta blockers.

I am currently on labetalol and having been taking these since the birth of my son due to having eclampsia. Since taking these I have been experiencing bloating /feeling full pretty much every day. I’ve been to the doctors with this and at first she said I may have a little bit of IBS but now she has said the believes it is the labetalol. It’s a side effect apparently however it’s not common one.

We have done stool and blood tests which have some back normal

Has anyone experienced anything similar!?

No-one has replied to you so I will put my hand up.I haven’t had your issues but I’m thinking it’s fairly normal for things to take a while to settle after a birth, which has taken so much out of your body.

Why not have a look at the website of the specialist charity Blood Pressure Uk and perhaps give them a ring.
