Should I be concerned

I am currently taking Ramipril 10mg , Lercandipine 20mg & Indapamide 2.5mg. Despite being on these my BP is still on the high side. I eat healthy, get plenty of exercise, don't drink or smoke. I have even cut caffeine out not that I drank much tea in the first place.

When I first started Lercandipine my feet were slightly swollen but I was able to cope with, then when they added in Indapamide the swelling stopped. However over the last 2 weeks my feet have been really swollen left foot a lot more than than the right which is quite noticeable. Should I be concerned about this?

When I was last at doctors they mentioned that they were going to monitor BP for another month as I had not long started indapamide and if no change they may refer to hypertension clinic, any idea what happens there?

You don’t say what your BP is standing at now and before. Best to discuss with your GP though.

When I first started on medication it was sitting around 180/125, it has slowly dropped over the past year and it averages around 142/102. I have been on indapamide for 6 week's now.

I’ve not heard of a hypertension clinic. Have a look at the website of Blood Pressure UK and see if there is anything that resonates with you.

Hypertension clinic are usually attached to hospitals in this country. They are part of Cardiology department and have experts n this field. The GP May see your case as complex and it’s a good idea to refer u. Nothing to worry about just the next level up. Hope it gets resolved soon & u can live a full life again. 🍀
