Recently I've experienced mild rectal bleeding for a six month period. Was wondering if it's due to using Noliprel (Inapramide) for ten years?

Hi there, I have no idea to be honest. But given your age and the circumstances I would advise speaking with your doctor sooner rather than later. It may be nothing but it will put your mind at rest. Also they may have to change your medication.
Bright red blood in the stool typically indicates that there is bleeding in the rectum or colon, which may be a sign of colon or rectal cancer. Rectal bleeding can also be caused by hemorrhoids.
Hi Ardleystar. You really need to see your GP about this, especially as it's been happening for six months. It may be haemorrhoids but could also be something else. Get it checked out asap! Good luck.
U really need to have this checked by a medical professional, even if you have haemorrhoids. 🍀
