tigerjuz what does the pack insert say about reactions to your medication? If this isn’t normal then go back to the prescriber. There are plenty of BP medicines to change to of this doesn’t suit. Worry about it makes your BP worse so you need to feel you’re in control of it and not it in control of you!

I’ll have a proper read it weird as not throughout the whole day just bedtime for some reason ? ,, yeah I’m gonna speak to dr Thursday as don’t feel 100 percent right like surely shouldn’t feel worser on them and was okay before ,, but that’s really true just didn’t want change for fact could get something worser ,, thank you though I will have a proper look and ask about it thank you :) x

Hi. Make sure that you take your iron meds at least 4 hours away from taking your heart meds. Also being low in iron can affect the heart and cause palpitations etc..Once your iron levels have improved you may not even need bp meds.

Hey ,, yeah I take my bp 01:30 when other half goes to work so I know I’ve had it ,, then have my iron at 6 am n pm but might leave til 7s ,, so could be my iron that would make sense as 1st 4 weeks I was okay on bp meds ,, do you know how long takes to get in the system and start working the iron as I’ll try persever till then ,, just seems 1 problem after another lately so panics me quite a bit ,, thank you 😊 for that x

Yes I understand what you mean and I know it's easier said than done but try not to panic as that just makes things worse, try some breathing exercises (you can find some on You Tube) or meditation - You Tube again - Yoga Nidra have some good ones and guided meditation, it'll calm you down. Good luck and let us know how you get on. 🤞

I guess we are all differentI've been on 5mg of his for quite a few years with no side effects.

The point if it of course us to slow your heart beat/pulse.

I do wonder sometimes reading quite a few posts on this forum how much anxiety plays a part, both in respect of BP and pulse.

Calm down and stop worrying and everything else seems to settle down too

Yeah I just don’t understand it as I was kinda fine at 1st just the odd body adjusting to it but then got inflammation and pain under left rib still waiting on tests for that and then the waking up like that just tipped me :( , yeah the health anxiety defo got me as it all came out of nowhere ,, but I am really trying to keep calm ,, thank you 😊 x
