Anyone else on metroprolol for high bp. Sounds like it is suppose to help with Hbp along with anxiety/white coat syndrome ?!

For some people, metoprolol can cause serious side effects. I was one of them when placed on 25mg. It is a beta blocker. It is certainly a drug that slows you down if that's what you mean by the "anxiety" part. I will never take it again.
