Bruised sensation

Hi, I'm on labetalol and enalapril and have feel bruised sensation in sole of right foot and in right hand. I googled and found this has to do with having a weakened heartbeat. Could medication doses be too high? Does anybody else have this bruised sensation, especially at night? Thanks

Whilst you can't believe everything you read on Google, I really think that's a question for your GP just to be on the safe side. Good luck and let us know how you get on.

Yes, this is a question for your GP. You are on a beta blocker and an ACE inhibitor which is combo therapy whereby lower doses of multiple drugs are better than a higher dose of a single drug (monotherapy)in order to have lower side effects. You tell us neither your doses nor your heartbeat. Beta blockers are designed to lower the heartbeat so your choice of the word weakened heartbeat is a little unclear.

Thank you, cuore. Yes initially labetalol 300mg 4x a day, and enalapril 5mg 1x a day. Side effects initially were migraines, palpitations, dizziness, numb hands. Currently labetalol 200mg 3x a day and enalapril increased to 10mg 1x a day. Side effects are now palpitations, dizziness and bruised sensation in foot and hand. Weakened heartbeat is what I found googling bruised sensation. Indeed, best to ask GP.
