I have lisinopril 5mg everyday only 1 tablet. My pharmacy change the brand to a different kind I have many intolerance but went ahead and took my tablet it made me feel sick, dizzy and have palpitations and all day today off balance headache.
Should I take another tablet tonight can't get the right brand (due to Coronavirus situation) and they do have different ingredients ? Looks like I might not be able to get them. Advise if anyone has gone through similar experience please.

i dont take this medicine but if these are the side effects i would not take any more but talk to your doctor in the morning . it looks like you have a high intolerance to some ingredients
I feel for you. I have not taken Lisinopril but I am on Ramipril at the moment. Can you try a different pharmacist? Not all pharmacies stock the same brand.
Just a thought but how long have you been taking the Lisinopril and when did you start to take the different brand. It may be that as there are some different ingredients in the different brand that you may have to get used to those like you do when you first start taking the medication, if you get my meaning.
I take Lisinopril. Can you remember what blood pressure (BP) you used to operate on before you started to get high BP. First off, is your BP on no medication very high? Could it "wait" a few days? My advice would be to miss out your medication and spend the few days searching for the brand which you were well on. If your BP goes super high if you don't take a daily pill then take just half a pill and put up with (presumably) reduced unpleasant side effects.
My BP is always high in the doctor's office, he put me on one (10mcg) Lisinopril and I took my BP at leisure in a local pharmacy, it was very low (like 110/x). I therefore halved the dose,
Next time I went back for a BP check at the docs (on 1/2 a pill) he measured 170/x again and told me to double my dose. I knew that would make me fall on the floor and so I ignored him. I now operate on 125/x on my half a pill which is what I used to have as a young person and I am doing just fine. I'm afraid you have to go with your gut these days, the doc just doesn't have enough time to iron out all your details.
Lisinopril is a good drug, it does it's job with few side effects unless you are on the wrong dose. I think your new brand is stronger than your old one so I would either turn heaven and earth to find your old brand or reduce the dose of your new one until you do, (measuring your BP as you go).
Thank you for your help, just spoken to my doctor they are trying to find the same. But it makes sense what you’re saying I think I will take half if my bp goes higher
I may be mistaken, but I think that your pharmacy chanaged manufacturer. He is getting it from someplace else. The manufacturer will be written on the bottle for the pill. You could phone around to the other pharmacies to see if they get their supply from the same manufacturer that you were first taking.
