Hi! Thank you for your reply. My last 3 readings at hospital was as follows:- 163/72 (pulse 119); 190/89 (P 115); 184/94 (P 113). I have been booked in for a 24-hour monitor in a couple of weeks time. I thought someone here might know of some good remedies that worked for them or reference to a good book on the subject. Thanks again and I will see how things go.

You are not only looking at your blood pressure but also tachycardia. Other than weight reduction, if necessary, I would not go down the route of self-medication but wait to see what your problem actually is. Have you had an ECG?

Thanks. I did have a ECG approximately 10 months ago and everything seemed fine. I suffer a lot from severe anxiety and worry, so that might be part of the problem. I will wait and see how the 24 hour monitor which I’ll wear turns out and what advice the medics give. Thank you once again for your advice. Much appreciated.
