Did I speak too soon
hi Jennymary im the same i sleep round the clock sometimes and im only on 5mg amlodapine. Iv only been on mine just over a month and i do find that the tiredness has lessened a bit.I wouldnt go without my blood pressure medication especially once i have started to take something to lower it then its going to just up back to what it was quite quickly. I read that somewhere. you know i'v seen two doctors since i was on it and they both said that blood pressure tablets dont cause tiredness. next time i go im taking the patient information leaflet in for them as the two big things with amlodapine is ankle swelling and tiredness. i feel better since iv been on them strangely enough as iv never slept well for years i'v been waking up every hour and a half so for me to get a good long sleep has change my life. im not so bad temepered or depressed. My blood pressure was up to 172/92 and when i went to the doctor on the 1st of this month that was friday past it was down to 124 on the top and i cant remeber the bottom but she was very pleased. please let me know how you get on iv spoken to a few people on this forum as i posted about sleeping round the clock and many people replied some saying that they were like a zombie on this amlodapine so what one are you on if you dont mind me asking. love grace xoxoxo
Hi Grace, thank you for your reply, I took another tablet Sunday, that night slept for 12 hrs, another one yesterday again slept for 12 hrs, I'm on 5mg Amlodipine, another complication for me is that I've lived with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome for over 20yrs and that's playing up at the moment, I'm waiting on a call back from GP, I'll post later when I know what's going on, xx PS haven't taken a tablet today
