Could be, or may not be. Could depend on which inhaler and how it is taken. Read the leaflet you got with it for some clues or check with the pharmaacy or GP.

yes it may well be ............id rinse after it with salted water as that will help clear them xxx

Get some Adult Bongela it works fantastic and better than the childs one xxx

Hello,

Theres been a few blogs or questions about this in the past so it may be worth going back through them as there are loads of tips on them. Generally, some people do get ulcers from inhaler use which is why good hygiene is paramount. Brush your teeth and tongue after each use and change your toothbrush regularly. Germs love toothbrushes!

Mouthwashes. Gargle with salt water. If possible, use a spacer with your inhaler. Just a few tips you could try.

If the medication you use is Symbicort - one of its side effects is oral thrush - this is why you need to propertly rinse you mouth after use.

Most proberly is inhailer, u should have been advised to mouth wash after you use it each time, they can cause thrush, c ur gp if it doesn,t clear up, i use tcp of i get them

It might be but have you changed your toothpaste or mouthwash, or the manufacturer has changed the formula. I only say this because my son has had some really nasty mouth ulcers and it appears that there is an ingredient in "most" toothpastes (cant remember what it is|!! SLS I think) which causes a reaction in 1 in ten people. Since he changed toothpaste he has been much better. If they are very bad you can ask the pharmascist for ssome steroid tabs that you dissolve on the ulcer apparently they are disgusting! but do work. So yes it could be your inhalers but check out the toothpaste! TAD xx

Hi yes it will be your new inhaler, especialy if it is a steriod inhaler, eg Symbicort. Washing your mouth out is the correct information also if you like Pineapple (and as long as there isn't on you other medication a referance to not taking it), then there is an enzyme in pineapple that can cleanse the inside of your mouth. If you keep some in your fridge and when you feel like you mouth isn't as fresh as it has been then sucking on pineaple fresh or chunks then this can help. Hope this helps xx

ps but sometimes it can sting, so please beware.
