Feeling apprehensive

Feeling some what apprehensive, about going on a cruise tomorrow ,wish now we had never of booked it .I keep reassuring myself that it will be safe as everyone will be doubled vaccinated otherwise you are not accepted, and of course we have to show the proof ,it has been quite an ordeal filling in the safety form.We had to book a lateral flow test for when we came back now because of this new virus it has change last minute to a PCR test we will have to iclelate when we get home if test proves negative we will be OK, I don't mind this just hope we will be safe on the cruise

Hi Alice. My friend has done 3 P&O cruises since July and has just come back from 14 days to the Canary Islands on Iona. She says that the measures taken made her feel very safe and she has really enjoyed it. If you can put up with the testing palaver it could be just what you need. I do hope that you have a lovely time.

Lucky you . I am envious I am sure it will be fine. The cruise companies have to much to lose now and they know how to deal with it. I think they are restricting the numbers too. What company are you going with ? My sister is off today to the Canaries with the the Queen Mary 2 . She is thrilled at going on that ship. My brother in law spends his time looking for r cruises at short notice meaning good discounts. I used to go with Saga and the crew then were really good really good at looking out for your well-being . The companies have learnt a lot over the past two years and they have too much to lose to take chances. Do have a lovely time and don't worry. Let us know how you get on and how much you have seen .

Hi jaybird you sister must be on the same ship as me queen Mary 2 ,it sail tomorrow ,you will hVe to tell me her name aS you never no I may come across her.I will be on a coach to Southampton from North wLes

QM2 is a great ship..I did her World in 2018. The only true ocean liner at sea.

It the second time on her for us ,lovely ship ,I bet a world cruise was fabulous
