Sunny sunday

What a lovely day we have had sunshine all day with a stiff breeze off the sea. Not that i have left our garden, kichen to greenhouse is my lot apart from many hospital departments. The good news is that the chemo has worked well on my liver which is now clear, and hopefully stays that way, the bowel operation was a success. Friday i had a biopsy as many spots showed up on the petscan, I was absolutely amazed when the oncologist Said he was ofthe opinion this was psoriatic.. Has anyone heard of this before I'm googling like crazy but getting nowhere. Hope you all have a stress free happy week . Jane

I’m so happy your chemo has worked and the surgery was successful. Wishing you all the best for the results from the biopsy. I’ve never heard of such a thing. When will you get the results? Sending you lots of good wishes 🕊

I also googled like crazy on your behalf and all i could find was pscoriasis linked to arthritis which shows up on pet scans.maybe your oncologist just believes they are inflamatory markers left after your successful chemo and surgery and they do not concern him/her which sounds like good news to me Jane and fingers crossed you are bounding down that road of recovery just in time for spring.Best wishes Ski's and Scruff's

Hey, that's great news about your liver and your bowel so I'd say it's best to enjoy that good news until you hear more about the spots.

I've never heard of such a thing but then there are lots of things I don't know about or even if I did, I would probably not remember (unless they happened in the 1950s which is where my memory seems to be clearest of all! Lol!!)

I hope we have more sunny days so you can get out and enjoy your garden.

Fingers crossed any future news for you is on the good side. xx Moy

Good news dear Jane. I’m so pleased for you. Psoriatic sounds a bit like “spots” as the word makes me think of psoriasis. I could be completely wrong but that’s my thinking anyway.

Have a lovely week and take care.

Love and hugs, Carole xxx💜💕🤗

This is such good news Jane and has cheered my morning to hear something so postivie. My friends partner has psoriatic arthritis but is a skin condition. I think Skis's has the answer to this and could be inflammation markers, I would ask next time you speak with the consultant. It has been very cloudy and cold here in the north, I so long for the sun. I managed to get the jet wash out on Friday but only did part of the back as the vibration affects my hands and arms, so will do this in stages. I wish you all the best. Irene x

It was a glorious sunny day yesterday, wonderful to be able to be in the garden :)

Very Many congratulations chubby on your recent treatment success :)

Thank youso much its the first time I've seen anything in print. I was beginning to think I was being fobbed off. During the last year my emphysema has improved greatly dont know why but I'll stick with it. Have a lovely day. Jane

Thats really lovely news to read as I look in on a dreary Monday afternoon. Just great chubby. Im only guessing g but could it just mean on the skin (of the organ?) rather than anything deeper. My son in law has psoriasis which of course is only on his skin. Baffling, I cant wait for an update for when you get to speak to the specialist. Very best to you 😃 . P

Thanks for the reply, I started with psoriasis 70 years ago and after many drugs in different countries, along came cyclosporin and methotrexate. And the rash vanished never to return. But the PRa stayed and progressed. So as I have no visible signs of the rash you maybe right its gone internal. Who knows , onwards and upwards, on a good day. lol . Jane
