George - by Midge πŸ•

I'm Midge Don Rhymer's terrier

I do my bit as well

Some say I'm even better

On that I will not dwell

He has lots of friends on here

So he is never alone

I've hear him say a time or two

It's just like being at home

I have friends on here as well

But there's one I really miss

That's George, Azure_Sky 's terrier

I wonder how he is. Midge x

Good afternoon Mr.D and more importantly, good afternoon Midge! So nice to know you have some input although I've often thought, Mr.D had somebody helping him(and I dont mean the two girls!!)

Hazel, who is a rescue dog and we think is aged about 9 or even 10 is a cross Rodesian Ridgeback/Pitbull and she says "hello Midge". I'm afraid as regards dear George,I think Caspiana is in contact but I may be mistaken. Hope you both are well and planning your next trip out and about.

in reply to SquirrelsHolt

Hello Hazel, Mr. D is getting a bit long in the tooth these days and takes some looking after.

Mr.D may be getting a tad older but he always takes great pleasure in telling us all about your little mischievous ways and between you &I, so dont tell anybody ..... he'd totally miss you if you found a lady dog friend and moved in with her. You keep him on his feet and when he is ever down in the dumps, you and your funny doggie ways, make him happy. That's what you do and everyone on this forum cant thank you enough for just being "Midge".

πŸ‘That's good to know and I'm presuming that @Azure_Sky is keeping well also.πŸ’ž

Me too Midge. We don't seem to have heard from Azure_sky for ages. I do hope that she is ok. Twinkle sends his love to fill the gap. πŸ’

Hi Midge great to hear from you.

Hope your friend is well and gets in touch as your missing him.

Great little rhyme πŸ’•X

Just hope we haven't been too intrusive.

Yes, indeed. I hope they are well.

Love, hugs and a tummy rub (no, not you Don, down boy)

in reply to Katinka46

I hope they are managing too. Things get very difficult when you are a single person dog owner and arthritis badly effects your hands and walking ability.

Miss Scruff's says Midge do show some pride

And from dear George that bottom hide

You wouldn't catch me being a tease

With Hypercat's moggie called Breeze....... :) x

in reply to skischool

Midge thinks they are hypocrites

Because they both have missing bits.

skischool profile image
skischool

Scruff's says because i am a female cat

They took the bits from where i sat

I wondered why Breeze never calls

Perhaps they took away his b***s :( x

You win! 🀣x

Thankyou Midge for your rhyme and photo. Good to know you're keeping well and looking after Don. Those girls seem a bit useless if you don't mind me saying.

Thanks also for reminding me about George. I used to enjoy reading about him but glad he is in touch with Chom and maybe he'll post again here some time.

Big hug from

Corin

George sends his love to Midge, he has no lady friends.

He loves his walkies at the Park, we have been meeting lots of

lovely puppies, soft and wriggly, full of love .

in reply to Azure_Sky

George doesn't seem to have aged at all. Midge was twelve on 1st Sept and has almost lost her coloured patches, the photo here was taken a while back.
