Thank you. 🙂 Midge is as much of a working dog as my labradors and springers were in my shooting days. She is my ears when I haven’t got my hearing aids in and knows our routine as well as me but has a much better memory. 🙂
Today? That’s wonderful! When I woke up I actually thought it was Wednesday today and thought I hope Pete will be coming home today. Wrong day but right hopes it seems. Keeping everything crossed 🤞
Lovely. Can I borrow Midge (in my dreams) to give her a cuddle? I would love to own a dog, but the Consultant won't let me. The nearest I get is when I visit friends with dogs, but then I can't stay too long, a couple of hours maybe before the antihistamines wear off and I need to access dog-free air, or any other member of the animal kingdom. We have an aquarium, but it's not the same.
To be honest Anne Midge is not a cuddlely dog she doesn't like being picked up and doesn't stand still long enough to be patted and stroked. But she will wag her tail off to thank you for the offer. 😉
Midge's proper name is Midge 2, when we bought her my wife and son were alive and we named her something else (I can't remember what it as now) but all three of us kept forgetting and calling her Midge like our old dog. In the end we gave up and renamed her Midge 2.
