I still don't feel up to going on my own, even with Midge as my back-up. So we are taking Bertie the Beagle with us, together with his owner, my daughter. The weather forecast for that area isn't bad, so hopefully we will come back with our batteries fully charged. Bertie is only six months old so Midge (who is ten years old) is having to give him a few lessons in good behaviour and to show respect for his elders, but they get on fine together. My daughter and I also get on well together, for most of the time.
Lovely to hear you are on the road again Don with your new companions! Hopefully they'll keep you on the straight and narrow (or Midge will!) ...and hope Bertie is a quick learner!
I think I've found it Ma, here in the Forrest of Dean. Struggling to keep in touch with my new MacBook. Why I didn't stop with my old Windows laptop I've no idea. Time I started acting my age I think, sticking with the old and tested.
Son , I'm like that with my old glasses...the optician keeps making them too strong...they make my eyes go funny lol! I was thinking of getting a MacBook do they take a clear photograph?see you later Ma x
MacBooks are very different from Windows machines, some things are better, they are faster and the graphics too are better, but when you been using Windoze for as long as I have making the change is difficult.
I'm a bit like that - I can't be bothered to do anything, everything is too much effort. We caravan and bought a new one a couple weeks ago. I hope the turning point will be in a couple of weeks when we go to Yorkshire to pick it up. Even if I can't do much, having a different view from the four walls will be an improvement!
I really hope so! I'm just recovering from a bad chest infection, and have just been diagnosed with adrenal insufficiency after many years of steroid use. I just need to take a look at life from a different perspective. Enjoy the Forest of Dean - it's a beautiful area
Life is full of adjustments having to be made. I thought my son and I would be caravanning abroad when my wife died, only for him to have a stroke and die at 57. The last thing I expected was travelling around just me and my dog. I hope you soon get back to enjoying caravanning in your new van.
