Cottage pie is my favourite, when stayin in a company housevI made cottage pie for dinner one friday. On the saturday I was invited to din cat one of my.coworkers. His wifecw is Japanese so I was looking forward to some exotic food. The starter was Japanese an d I eagerly waited for the main. My hostess brought itvin and said I have cooked my favourite dish, yes it was cottage pie. 😁😁😁👍
Aww Midge looks lovely. I thought he looked very good for his age, like a puppy, then I noticed the date. He's doing well for 13 yrs. your faithful companion by your side. You'll have to lend him one of your hearing aids 😄.
I now have a new friend, Jasper. He arrived from the rescue kennels 2 weeks ago, he will be 6 yrs old in September. He is such a good boy and always at my side.
Midge is a female and is pretty good for her age. Her birthday is September too. Jasper looks a lively lad, has he been poorly? I see the shaved patch on his frontage.
Lovely Photo of Baby Midge, They grow up too quickly like all Babies, She is a Delight like all our Babies. 13 years old, still with you Don. Bless her & You. XXXXC.
I know that Don , My Charlie reached 15, his final jouney to the Vet here in UK. Born in Spain, leg amputated at 11 never made any difference to his running , he was a cross Pek. My little Man. Now Princess is here with all her love, shes 10 in May, cant be without our Fur Babies. Bless Midge. 🐕🐕🐈
Oh that photo...... A lovely poem Don, it says it as it is Im sad to say. My last Jack Russell had dementia in his latter days. It was heartbreaking, I'm glad you have Midge to keep you company, I really miss having a doggie friend.
One of my previous JRTs had a heart problem towards the end and would suddenly stop what he was doing and slowly sink to the ground. After a minute or two he got up and continued what he was doing as though nothing had happen. One time he just didn’t get back up, I thought is a lovely way to go. All too often that terrible last journey to the vet is required. 🙁
I was fortunate my daughter's two friends took him on that final journey. We buried him in the local wood znd planted some daffodil bulbs at the same time. They are a joy to see in the Spring and bring back lovely memories of him.
Aww love your poem and Midge, aww she's adorable ❤ Reminds me of one of my dogs, (Adrianne) 🤩 looks so similar when Adi was a pup ❤ she is so loyal, a little (well a lot) nervous. If I bring a new piece of furniture into the house she's like "HAY WHAT THE HECK" backing off and barking at it, bless her. My other Jack is now 13 (Rocky) and he has been diagnosed with a heart murmur, although he's slowed down a bit he still acts like a puppy whenever he's around water, whether it be a river, the sea or a hosepipe. Always had dogs, they bring me so much joy, heartbreaking when we lose them but they give so much. Trying to upload a pic of adi for you to see if you think they look similar 😁 xxx
I nearly missed this Skis, I’m going to miss my old desktop if I don’t get it sorted soon. Yes I don’t think it’s going to make much difference to her. Great poem. 😀
Good afternoon Mr.D and Midge. Your photograph of the lovely Midge and the not so appealing shoes, I see is dated 2007. So maths not being my strong point.....makes lovely Midge 13 years old (plus any year or two before that?). Having seen more recent photographs of her, she is like our Hazel and holds her ever growing years, very, very well. I loved todays rhyme as it just underlined the bond/love we have for our house sharers. I did giggle when i saw your shoes though!!!😊!! Stay indoors and stay well x 🐿💕
