I read replies to a post that was put on not that long ago...It made me laugh for hours and am still smiling. ..Thank you people for been straight and honest when the occasion calls for it.

Shame I can't say more than that..and a even bigger shame that I still can't use my pm. ...to thank the people for their frankness. ...

Made my day.

Andy.

Yes the egg production will soon be up to full speed.

Still can't make up my mind on what to do with the hen sitting on her bad eggs. ..

I mean have ever felt sorry for a chicken before! !!!

Am just waking up... yes baby is very good and mother even better...

Really is wonderful to look after then.

Everyone still sleeping here..

Time to make a cuppa. ..

God the heavens have really open up this morning.

Hi Andy, just a quick hello :)

maybe the chickens will go prudy again and might breed, i hope you have a cockerel :) as, if not they'll never hatch.:D

When we kept chickens when i was boy, my father used to go to the farm for "farm eggs " most of these turned out fertile,, we had LOT of chickens in the end :) but at that time you couldn't get eggs or chicken, most things were rationed,

So it was grow your own veg, potatoes etc, swap eggs for fresh fish from the trawlerman, who lived just up from us,, all the very best of food. a lot better than the force fed rubbish from the supermarket, nowadays :D

take care andy,, jimmy :)

Hi Jimmy. ..We don't have a Cockerell but I am trying to talk my other half into getting one...she doesn't want me to start a farm up in the garden.

She happy just with the 6 egg laying hens...

They will lay eggs every for a year or two as they only just now starting to lay...

I am thinking of moving out of the city so best to leave things as the are for now...

Nice to see your okay.

Andy.
