Morning All .
I just wondered if anyone else feels like me -I am very noise intolerant at the moment ,any loud bangs or doors slamming & I am 6 feet in the air ,not sure if its the condition ( pulmonary fibrosis ) or meds ,just very shaky & nervous at the moment ..Appreciate any opinions thankyou xx

I have always been very jumpy at sharp noises, at least if they are unexpected. Just wondering if it is something to do with your hearing system.
My problem with loud noise is that I feel it vibrating inside my chest. It doesn't make jump but seems to jar my body.
I think you have mood changes and should tell your doctor: perhaps med dosage change or being prescribed another medication could help.
BANG !!!!!! If that didn't make you jump,you must be ok.It made me jump by the way. Lol.x
Maybe your blood pressure is a bit out it affects my hearing.
i have Bronchietasis and over these last few months i am very jumpy when there is a loud noises,not only that it upset me, my arthritis is more painful.

Hi, I have Fibrosis, and am on all sorts of medication. I cannot bear to go to busy places where there is hustle and bustle, in a noisy situation I feel like an electric shock has shot through my head, this is not how I used to be when I was well, I loved to be at the hub of everything!
I have accepted that when I find myself in that situation I head for home or a quieter place, can't stand kid's shouting, or running around, don't even go out to eat in the evening now places too busy and noisy, and I get worked up and stressed, then can't breathe!, so then I can't eat! Happy Days!, GOOD LUCK x
i cant believe what i have just read its as tho i had written it myself.honestly.i dont know what fibrosis is but i be looking it up in a minute.im not on alot of medication but you have given me something to think about.Thankyou

Thankyou everyone for your input ,think it might be a combination of most of the things mentioned
by most of you ,somehow you think you are the only one with these problems ,sadly that's not so & I hope you all
feel as well as you can be from day to day ..on a bright note im off to the beach today ,hope its not too noisy
