Hi all. Just wanted to say my Husband went into hospital tonight and sadly passed away about 10.00pm. I have lost my everything. X

Mavis its hard to believe that the man I saw at the Taunton IPF meet the experts meeting last November walking around with his oxygen on wheels is gone. At the time he looked quite well and seemed to be fairly mobile but what stood out to me and my daughter was your obvious love for him. You were asking the experts a lot of questions trying to find out if there was anymore you could do to fight this disease but they had no real answers did they.

I am very saddened to hear of your loss and I know my daughter will feel the same to as she has asked me to keep her updated on any posts that you sent on this forum.

Oh Mavray, so sorry to hear your news,I was in the same position as you are now back in November,The pain is actually physical and nothing anyone can do or say will ease it....for a while, just let it flow, go with it,let others take the strain of practicalities, you'll not be able to concentrate on even the smallest things like making a cup of tea never mind all the forms and the registrar etc. so make a point of telling all the 'helpers' that your head is too wooly at the moment so please to back off and give you some space,Then go and sit somewhere that you feel a little bit more 'Normal' and just wait for a sign,

NO I'M NOT BEING WEIRD..... you will get a sign that hubby is still with you, watching over every move you make, go with the flow I promise you will benefit your mind and find a little peace. I was in Germany when I had my first sign feeling very low walking thru the park wishing he was there to share it, then right in front of me very gently floated down a white feather it landed on my arm and stayed there without moving or falling off until I returned to the house then it dropped on to the mat as I opened the door , I still have that feather and a few more that have been his trademark when I need a bit of a shove, and a you CAN do this moment! (of which there are many)

As my super daughter says Baby Steps Mum, Baby Steps;.and she is so right ! you will find yourself again Mav and. we are all here for you when you need us xxxx
