For awhile I’ve had this problem going to the toilet during the night, I don’t drink after 7pm and I’ve cut down my caffeine and I’m still getting up a couple of times in the night, it’s not the same during the day. I’m 25 and diabetic all bloods are fine when testing them sometimes I’ll go to the bathroom and not even 5 minutes after I have to go again it’s not a trickle it’s like I’ve had another drink.

Hi

I used to have the same problem but noticed that on the days I went to the gym and drank a lot of water my toilet trips were fewer. So I increased my water (yes water, not tea and coffee) intake.

It can happen when your urine is too concentrated which, in turn, irritates the bladder.

There's no need to stop drinking at 7 pm either. I drink right up to bed time and usually go only once during the night; sometimes twice and sometimes I never go.

Hi well you have just said it! your Diabetic For one it can allow fluids to pool into other places then drain back at night.

And as been said keep fluids up rather than down but also speak to Quacks/Diabetes Medics because there are other illnesses off it.

Diabetes UK can help there is one on here also.
