interstitial cystitis and coconut flour?

Hi all

Iv had interstitial cystitis for a few months now my symptoms are slowly getting better. Iv been sticking to IC friendly foods but the one thing im struggling with is breakfast.i follow a keto diet which has helped me massively with other medical issues and i have lost a lot of weight and overall feel better. Once im at my ideal weight i will switch to a primal lifstyle as its the one lifstyle i could live with for the rest of my life.

For breakfast i normally have waffles that i make myself. I wanted to ask is coconut flour IC friendly? I don't see it on any of the lists. I see coconut is friendly but what about the four?

I wish you well on your journey to recovery. I never felt well eating coconut anything. For breakfast, I have a bowl of Rice Chex in rice milk and I really enjoy that.

I hope you find a good breakfast dish and feel better soon!

Hi, I have IC and I use coconut in all it’s forms in my cooking regularly and use the flour as a substitute for baking. Thankfully, it has never caused me any problems :)
