ICD for low EF and low blood pressure

Just wondered if anyone has had an ICD fitted due to EF of 35 and low blood pressure (my lowest reading 60/ 45 highest never above 128). I previously had a cardiac arrest almost 13 years ago after a heart attack the day before. I was aged 56 and only later last year has my EF gone from 40 to 35. Just wondered as it seems to me an ICD is for high BP patients although low BP is just as dangerous?

it’s for sudden cardiac arrest, if your heart stops it will shock you. You aren’t likely to know anything about it, you will black out.

Low ef and bp likely to be the cause of the arrest.

Ask your cardio team for a full explaination.
