Hello all. You may recall my request for information after my 73yr old brother had his Coronary Artery Bypass Graft (CABG). He is now 4 weeks post-op and was doing very well, until this morning when he began to experience pain in his chest and his left arm. An ambulance was duly called and he was admitted to hospital - ECG and cardiac troponin levels confirm a heart attack. This is all the information we have at the moment.I guess I am wondering if anyone else has experienced this, and if so, what was the cause/treatment plan/outcome? He has been told he will likely need another angiogram, but nothing is certain yet. Needless to say, he is extremely worried and utterly terrified (as are we!)
Thanks.
