Hello, I started Entresto 24mg/26mg on Dec 28th, initially no issues, have since been reviewed and told to remain on that dose. I have just recently started experiencing spells of lightheadedness/dizziness and have on occasion had to stop when walking due to feeling weak. I am generally active ( cardio rehab/Pilates/golf) so this seems like a significant change. I am consulting the HF nurses, but in the meantime am wondering if anyone else has experienced something similar a couple of months after starting Entresto ? Thank you in advance for any input you can give b

I started on the middle dose and then went up to the highest dose 97mg/107mg and had the same symptoms until my body fully adjusted to the meds, which my HF nurses advised is totally normal with heart meds, particularly Entresto and beta blockers. I've been on them for over 2 years now and generally no longer have the dizzy episodes, but may have the very rare dizzy episode fora few days, it then nothing for months.

Hi! I experienced the exact same, I then moved up to the middle dose and now I've been on the highest dose for 9 months or so and trust me, for me at least, the benefits definitely outweigh the negatives! After a few weeks your body should get used to the medication and you'll feel normal again. Obviously everyone is different, but that's my experience! Good luck

Hi WBAS a lot of heart tablets lower your blood pressure I’m on Entresto and 2 others. Low BP will make you dizzy if yours is low. Stick with it as your body should adjust. Make sure you keep notes then tell your GP/Cardiologist next time you see them.

Hi WBAS, I've been on Entresto 24/26 for a couple of years now and I can still feel a bit weird and light headed sometimes when standing from sitting, but I'm prepared to put up with that as I know Entresto is important. My cardiac nurse advised me to stamp my feet on the floor for 20/30 seconds before standing to help with blood circulation, it can help sometimes. Keep well, take care.

I started on the lowest dose 5 years ago and had a similar experience. I an now on the highest dose and have no side affects. Hopefully your side should be short lived and you can move to a higher dosage.
