I'm currently withdrawing from Propranolol 10 mg and I wake up after 2 hours with numb hands and palpiations. I am planning to tapper to 5 mg and so on. Does anybody experienced that? How did you resolved it? Please don't send me to the doctor and please answer only if you had a solution. Thank you.

Propranolol withdrawal numb hands during sleep

Hello, Annie463. I was on Bisoprolol, which is a similar drug to Propanolol, for a year after my CABG. Originally, it was on the top dose of 10mg, but halved by the heart surgeon after 8 weeks, because of unwanted side-effects. I also started getting Tinnitus. Since then, I have been getting palpitations, and swelling, slight numbness, and tingling of my toes, and to a certain extent in my fingers. Before the Bisoprolol, I had already had Raynauds phenomenon in my hands and feet.
Are you able to sleep?
Hello, again, Annie463. I have had sleeping problems since early adulthood, but the Bisoprolol and other medications seemed / have seemed to make thing worse. The fact that heart and blood pressure medications can make one tired during the day can make falling asleep, or remaining asleep, at night, all the harder. I have to take alternative medicines for that.
numb hands might well be from a trapped nerve and a physio or osteopath might help.
