I had an angiogram last year. Slightly uncomfortable but painless.
It's the word 'invasive' that makes it sound scary!
But that just means that a catheter will enter your body. Honestly, it's nothing to be worried about.
If you had a stent inserted it would have been done by Invasive Coronary Angiogram so you have already had one
In medical terms pretty well any procedure which goes into your body by making a hole in it or inserting an instrument through an existing opening is seen as invasive
