Bisoprolol withdrawl migraine

I had a stent in my LAD last august and was put on the usual meds including bisoprolol 2.5 mg. One of the welcome side effects was that my periodic migraines completely disappeared. At my last appointment my cardiologist said I could come off bisoprolol because my heart was in good shape and angina had gone. I stopped in Jan and since then my migraines have come back with a vengence, one a week lasting 2 days even after taking sumatriptan. I'm hoping this us a rebound effect and things will return to how they were. Anyone had similar experience?
