I was changed from bisoprolol to propranolol to help with migraine (I get the silent ones too) - but I think it's because the propranolol acts as a prophylactic for migraine, whereas bisoprolol is a more cardiac specific beta blocker (rather than bisoprolol being the cause of the migraine).
The migraine certainly didn't stop when the bisoprolol was stopped.
Check the leaflet for side effects or have a chat with your local pharmacist.
My experience has been less of the visual migraines, but that could be one of the other meds.
Hello
Everyone can react differently to medications so you cannot rule it out however I had migraines every 2 weeks would be lucky if I went 6 weeks without one for years and with the aura
I have been on Bisoprolol the last few years and my migraines are a lot less now so they have not had that effect on me but I would speak with your Doctor again as I know how debilitating and miserable migraines can make you feel
