Can anyone recommend travel insurance for holiday 🤔

Whereas you might get recommendations from folks on here that have suited them, but we are all different (destination, age, health, how long for, extent of cover etc) and what might be a good deal from someone else might not be the same for you. So do your own research by finding a website that covers travel insurance with pre existing medical conditions, fill in the details fully and honestly, choose some quotes that look promising and take it from there. If you have an undiagnosed condition awaiting investigation you might find some insurers will decline to cover or the premium is very high. Or talk to a local insurance broker who is incentivised to get you a deal.

I have used Staysure for my travel insurance. They cover pre existing conditions. Suggest you also look at Avanti and All Clear

I have an annual policy with Staysure which has been great until a recent heart monitor showed ectopic beats at 15% burden - ectopics started after a Covid infection. An echocardiogram was normal. Cardiologist wants another heart monitor repeated in 6 months' time. Staysure have excluded me for 'cancellation cover' until next heart monitor results are known despite having a diagnosis of Ventrical Ectopics from a Cardiologist.I feel ok and have the go ahead to exercise and travel .

I've had to purchase an additional 'single trip' policy which includes an extra premium for 'Wait List' cover for my pre-booked trip. The company I have used is Good to go insurance.

It's a case of ringing around various companies.

I was with paying too much. I rang to inform them of my heart attack and two stents. They refused to cover me !!I was recommended All Clear they were so helpful. I got a years travel insurance covering me for a cruise also. It came at cost but peice of mind is so important to me. Good luck

I have used Insureandgo for many years. They will cover medical conditions, including AF. May not be the cheapest but good cover and claims dealt with in good manner.
