hello 42 years male, since end of December I'm experiencing chest pain in the left high side area of the heart, I don't have pain to the arm but it is much more an Annoyance sometimes the pain to the chest is more like a mild pain or sharp pain but it last really few seconds. So I was worried and I went to the cardiologist to do EKG, which doesn't show any problem but the cardiologist saw that I had high blood pressure of 140/85 and said that I maybe be anxious. Before make the EKG I walked quite much because I parked a bit far away from the doctor office and I go there by walking. I developed the habit of parking the car quite far from the place I needed to go, also when I go home. In the chest discomfort I also experiencing shortness of breath which I try to compensate by breathing more deep also sometimes happen that I yawn but I don't feel tired at all . Then I made the ecocardiodoppler and the only results are that I have a ascending aorta at the upper limits of normal, tricuspid valve with mild regurgitation, minimal separation of the pericardial layers. The cardiologist said that this could be normal and I wanted to give me Norvasc. Starting with half pill of 5mg and if it is necessary to change it to 1 pill. I want to say that I'm 77 kg and I'm 1:72 cm. I try to eat more healthy as possible, walk and exercise at home with pushup before I used to go to the gym to do Martial arts. Anyway from the blood analysis I found out that my cholesterol LHD is midium/high. Now I cannot even make a walk around the house because I feel over tired, when I stayed sitted my bpm 70/60 but then when I walk is around 80-90-100-110. I also experiencing dizziness, nausea and rarely I feel like my heart jump a beat. Blood pressure remains borderline like 120/70 but sometimes quite normal like 113/66. The GP refused to give me the Norvac , said that I was needed to do more test , then he prescribed me Holter and stress test. I'm easy to get panic attack but this is weird I don't feel anxious at all. I have diabetes since 2016 but it is really very well under control. In the night time when I lay down heart beat go down to 60-59-50-45. I would like to know if someone get this same symptoms

Thank you

Best 2025 to everyone

So sorry about the chest pains. acid reflux or stomach ulcers can also cause chest pains. Your blood pressure is very okay and the doctor may not want to give you the pill so it does not drop your blood pressure too low. Try natural relaxation techniques and drink lots of water to stay hydrated. You will be fine.Cheers.

When u have panic attack. Look at your test results . They are all normal. Don't believe on your thoughts. Believe on test results and doctors . They knew better than you. That's what I do when I had panic attacks.

Thank you for your answer it really helps , there something also that make me think about reflux , it is like I have a "globus sensation" like oppression to the throat then it goes away only by burping...or taking anti-acid medixine. What worries me is also this dizziness sensation and feeling lightheaded, accompanied sometimes by headache so I really don't know. There are symptoms like cardiological problems(shortness of breath , shoulder pain , arm pain) that mix with reflux/others so I don't really know. Gp prescribed me also Coronary CT Angiography before he didn't agree with that but maybe after my insistance he give up ...... I usually drink quite much , I need to see this relaxation techniques

Thank you
