Low BP

Hello
I am glad they have reduced your medication hopefully this will help and your BP will not keep going so low as it has been
Hope you had a nice Christmas and a Happy New Year x
Water tablets can be tricky, they can rid your body of necessary fluid not merely the unnecessary stuff. This can lead to kidney problems, etc, etc. You should have a meaningful discussion with your gp 😉
Everytime I was put onto furosemide I ended up with a UTI and antibiotics. All been checked out and now just don't take furosemide.
I've been on and off furosemide for about 30 years now due to two cases of pulmonary edema. I have also had hypertension even longer. On the furosemide I have occasionally had low BP but only in the last 10 years and my BP meds lowered recently. I stopped taking the furosemide daily some years back and now only take it when my ankles and feet start swelling. I spoke to my cardiologist about it and he okayed the idea.
