meds and chronic cough

hello

When I had my heart attack in 2021, I was put on Ramipril among others. This gave me a dry hacking cough so I was switched to Losartan. But the cough is still there. I’ve had a chest x-ray; all ok. So I was wondering if any other meds are known to cause this. In addition to Losartan, I’m on aspirin, atorvastatin— I guess that’s it for heart drugs.

it’s probably worth you talking to the pharmacist employed by your doctor’s group of surgeries. As specialists in medications and their side effects they can advise your gp. Other than that, your dispensing pharmacist. There are indeed many many drugs which could be suitable
