I had a heart attack in July 24. I had a stent fitted I had no heath problems prior to this. I am a non smoker I exercised 4 times a week at the gym and walked on the other 3days of the week. Im not overweight and there is no other family members with a heart condition. The surgeon at the hospital said I have no thinning of the artery or heart disease. I asked him why this has happened he said unfortunately you were just unlucky. I was t put on statins in hospital as my cholesterol was fine. A month after my attack a 2nd blood test revealed my cholesterol had gone up. I was then put on a 80mg statin Atorvatatin. I think this my by causing my ALT to raise my hands have also just started to swell and are a little bit stiff. Please can anyone help as getting very anxious about this

the fact that your hands are stiff and swelling could be caused by, for instance, osteoarthritis.
So a diagnosis is needed by a medical professional for this, not urgent.
I’m not sure what you mean ALT?
