Numb Thumb and Sudden nerve pain sometime

Hi,

I had CABG x3 on 17th Oct and I am recovering very well. However, one of the graft was from left arm. The graft was taken out using 2 holes in the arm (thankfully) but I feel lot os soreness and numbness in the palm and thumb. Sometimes, based on my movement , I get severe nerve shock which just shakes me up. When I showed it to surgeon, he checked my thumb strength and there was no issue regarding this. He said these symptoms are normal.

Has anyone experienced the same? does it goes away and how long it takes to be normal left arm?

Hi, I had my CABG x4 on 8th Oct. Still struggling with pain management mainly in shoulder and chest muscles. It seems everyone is different. Early days after such a major op. Good luck.
