Copd and racing heart.

My partner has had copd for 16 years. Becoming worse also is having palpitations and racing heart of 130 which lasts a couple of hours. Has recently diagnosed high blood pressure ,high blood glucose,and low oxygen levels. On trelegy elipta for 3 years. Is this normal for copd. Also had 24 hr ECG. Waiting for results

That happened to me too. I had a 24 hour ECG. Showed some missed beats but said nothing to worry about. The palpitations are scary but now been told that because of breathlessness my heart has to work harder. My resting heartrate us 80. I have had this problem for 4 years now. COPD and Asthma 24 years. Hope your hubby finds a cause but wouldent worry too much .

I have COPD and chronic heart disease. I bless the day I was put on incruse ellipta. It’s given me my life back enabling lovely long walks without any breathing difficulties at all .
