COPD and angiogram
Dear Chrissca71
They will have your medical records and you will have a pre-assessment, your stats checked, ECG and a chat with the cardiologist performing the procedure all before you get near the angiogram room.
This will give you plenty of time {if they haven’t already said} to tell them about your concerns.
Good luck for Tuesday I hope it all goes smoothly for you
thank you its reassuring to know i get to talk to some one before the procedure
You will be given plenty of opportunity to discuss your situation with the medical team before your procedure, who will then be able to decide what is needed to carry out the procedure with minimal hindrance.
thank you its reassuring to know i can talk to team before procedure
Hi yes they will let you have a pillow. I hope all goes well. It’s not as scary as you think the angiogram and you have nurses with you to keep you reassured throughout the test. X
thank you good to know i dont have to lay completely flat, i was worried i might start coughing while they were doing the angiogram but feel reassured now
