Had my coronary angiogram today as part of processfor TAVI. Have to say that it was not as bad as I imagined it would be. I did have the "sedation". Maybe that had an effect but I felt quite at ease. They advised me a stent will not be needed prior to my TAVI. Anything that needs to be removed they expect the medication, apixaban and simvestatin, will do that.
What I didn't really understand was this "team" that my angiogram results etc will be sent to.
What is the aim of "the team" and who are they?
Thoughts anyone?

I assume they are referring to the Multi Disciplinary Team or MDT, these are medical doctors, anaesthetists, nurses, surgeons, cardiologists and all manner of medical specialists. They will now look at all the tests results and come to a decision about the TAVI, how and when mostly.
Glad it went well for you. Did they say when the MDT meeting would be ?
No they didn't but did mention something about in the next 2 months.I am going to ring the secretary of the cardiologist I originally saw a couple of months ago. She did mention to me once to ring her and let her know when angiogram done.
Not sure what significance that has but no harm letting her know.
She may be planning to alert the TAVI specialist nursing team to get in touch with you, they are great at keeping you informed about the process and anything you need to do to move the process on. Both the cardiac and lung teams (in Swansea) had MDT meetings every week, of course, it is likely different where you are. Hopefully the secretary and specialist nurses can give you more concrete information.
Was prehab mentioned? This is physiotherapy led exercise to get you as fit as possible for the operation.
