Hi, Ralph had his trachy changed again almost 3 weeks ago. Consultant not too happy that Ralph was only capping 30 minutes a day, so Ralph is upping it by 30 minutes every 3 days. He's now up to 3 hours and should be up to 9 hours by next appointment. Ralph says it's harder if he does anything but he's carrying on. I said maybe it will be easier if he gets it out as the tube won't be taking up room in his airway. Consultant says he's very confident he can have it out and be fine, which is a big turn around from him. We'll see.
On another point, not had any daily notifications since Saturday. I've just logged out and back in again to see if that helps.
Best wishes to all xx

Wishing Ralph well. 👍. It will be so good for him to be free of trachy. There are many of us not getting notifications and l think Admin have been informed.
Hi Sue I am so glad things are still going forward for Ralph and he could be free from the trachy, he has really came on leaps and bounds since he came out of hospital and long may it continue.I also have not received any notifications for days and before that I was having huge problems trying to get into the posts, I have no idea what is going on. Char x
Onwards and upwards He is doing so well Look forward to your next one It will be great if trach can come out eventually though slightly nerve wracking for you both
I'm glad to hear things are going well with steady improvements. You both deserve a calm time, that's for sure! Sounds like you have a good plan with the gradual capping, I hope it continues to get easier. 💗
Hi Gardenview....once again, so pleased about Ralph's progress....he's a trooper for sure....long may it continue. With regard to emails it appears there are a fair few of us who haven't had any notifications so I would assume there's some sort of problem. As always...all the best to you both xx
Daily notifications are all over the place. I was fine until this morning.Everything seems really positive , it's like a full time job getting well but Ralph seems to be taking it on.
Glad to hear about his improvement, take care , Bee
Thanks for the update Sue , so pleased that Ralph is doing so well after everything he went though . It has shown us all that there is always hope even when things look bad . Xxx
