Had an event in August when I felt very unwell, did not pass out but had to get paramedics to attend. Ecg diagnosed AF and heart block.Since then no further events. Had echocardiogram, all normal.
Had a mobile Holter monitor for 7 days , no abnormalities shown.
Am now waiting for an implantable monitor which will hopefully reveal a cause, no date yet given.
Would be interested to hear if anyone had a similar experience?

I had a similar event started feeling lightheaded and dizzy, and my pulse rate dropped, went to A and E ECG and tests OK. A month later I was sweeping the kitchen and the lights went out, completely blacked out with no warning. Taken to A and E again and fitted with a pacemaker the next day. All good now and what a difference. Take care and discuss with your cardiologist to see what they think.
Hi Thanks for your message. Nice to hear you are doing well.
I am waiting for contact from my cardiologist and will raise the question of a pacemaker with him. I think, given the current state of the NHS, it may be a while before I make it on the list for an implantable monitor to try and determine the cause of my event.
No one had said anything but looking back I hate to think what the outcome could have been had I not been standing in the kitchen when I came round I had a gash on my forehead and an egg sized lump on my skull. Please take advice as there was no warning before I just bkackef out. In
