Been taking this for a couple of months now. Noticed in last week or sometimes calves a bit swollen now and again. This morning I noticed a bit "blotchy" reddish small parts and skin a bit flakes.
Is this normal?

It's not unusual for this to happen, you need to moisturise your legs daily to keep them hydrated. I would ask your pharmacist for advice on what you should use on them.
Good luck
@Lezzers is correct about moisturiser. It may also be a sign of poor circulation so I would advise you to have a chat with your GP. Poor circulation is often due to PAD (Peripheral Arterial Disease). A Doppler test with ABPI (Ankle-Brachial Pressure Index) would confirm if this is the case or not. PAD is more common where there is a history of smoking and/or diabetes.
I would certainly support what Michael and Lezzer are saying. Unfortunately if left the flaky red bits can cause the skin to break and that can cause a wound which can be difficult to heal. The only other thing I would suggest is elevate your legs when seated or better by lying down to get the legs higher than your heart. Try not to spend too much time on your feet if you can. All the best
Thank you
I have PAD so moisturise mt kegs daily, as for 40mg Furusamide it is very important you continue to take it, I assume you take it once a day as I do.
