Wow! I thought that my recovery was good but I certainly wasn't doing 5000 steps a day two weeks on (though this was before mobile phones, let alone step counting apps!). It shows how well the body can recover when a damaged mechanical part is repaired. Reminds me of when I had a test drive in my first car, it wouldn't go over 40 mph because the owner had put the spark plugs in the oven to dry them off. He replaced the plugs and when I had a final drive prior to purchase it would do any speed I wanted with ease.
