Hi Since my heart attack in Feb I have encountered many side effects from the medication finally we are getting somewhere however one side effect still remains being the blurry eyes and the sensitivity to light. Eyes become very heavy in the evening and feel so tired anyone else suffered from this at all or any ideas or tips they can give as the doctors are running out of ideas.

Hi, I would advise booking an eye test.

After my HA my eyesight felt worse, I went to see an optician and my eyesight had actually deteriorated by a focal point.

The lady said she's seen similar things in other heart attack patients.

coincidence or fact? not sure but worth checking out

Weirdly my eye sight has improved after my heart attack! I went to the opticians because I was getting like a flashing light in my left eye. When they did all the tests they found my eyesight had improved. Couldn't get to the bottom of the flashing light though and it gradually disappeared.

I have had eye test twice to just rule out issues with eyes and optician said my eyes are perfect. That was the first eye test then I went again to a different one and they matched the exact service prescription. I am now thinking of getting a diabeties check next

Hi Jackie they have taken me of astorvastatin it's been since Tues 11th and I kinda been feeling bit better but today this evening it's gone worse horrible again. Anyone know how long it takes for the statins to wash out your system
