Changed from atenolol to bisoprolol

Hi! I saw my consultant nurse on Tuesday who said my recent ziopatch showed more ectopic beats and episodes of VT. I was on 50mg of atenolol once a day for 10 years, had no issues but did feel it maybe wasn’t quite working as well lately. So she has switched me to bisoprolol 2.5mg twice a day. I’ve had my first dose this morning and I do feel strange, I just feel fatigued, my chest is a bit fluttery and I just am struggling to get going. I’m wondering if maybe it’s not the right drug for me or is the dose not quite right?

does this sound normal and just my body adjusting?

Hi I was on bisoprolol for ages 5mg but then increased to 7.5, couldn't handle it as always light headed and dizzy back to 5Then more AF and increased to 10 but 5 am and pm, that was OK but due to further AF now on sotatol 160mg twice daily

hi I’m on bisoprolol 12.5 mg a day for about 8 years and still fill fatigued but no other side effects Iv just got used to feeling like this hope you will feel better some I would check with the heart nurses
