hi everyone, almost 6 weeks since my IDC was fitted and I have my first review this coming Thursday with the technical team in Stoke. One of the questions I will ask is in regard to when the ICD;” goes off”. Crazy question but the stuff I have read talks about pain being felt in the chest area (where the heart is wired up ) but can anyone describe what this feels like please ? I have had a couple of sharp twinges in my chest , when touching my heart/IVD feels like razor wire . Happened twice and yes my head is still all over the place wondering if something has happened and yes I can ask on Thursday but to be honest the community here is super good and providing pramatic and patient experience feedback. So can anyone kindly help. Thanks as always and post Thursday I will share what the team in Stoke have to say k/r John
