Doxazosin and anxiety

My GP recently changed my BP meds from 5mg Amlodipine to 1mg Doxazosin as my BP was going a bit low and causing light headedness. Since being on the Doxazosin I have been suffering some anxiety over quite unimportant stuff, very out of character for me. I also feel my heart pounding quite alot when I'm active, again not something I've experienced before. Has anyone experienced this with Doxazosin? Were you changed to different medication?

I had the same symptoms with Amlodopine so it may be that.
