Has anyone tried to get life insurance with a diagnosis of a heart condition. I have been looking and getting declined. I managed to speak to someone who said I would not be able to get life insurance, but would be eligible for over 50 insurance. Issue is I am not 50 yet either!
Han anyone else had this issue or managed to get insurance?
Any help or advise would be greatly received.

why bother with insurance companies. Open a savings account with your bank and save direct to that account. You will not have to pay the insurance company. If you have a bank account then make a recurring payment (standing order) and you can then sit back and let your little pot grow. If no bank account then maybe the post office.
I can see where you are coming from, However, my husband and I have heart conditions and neither of us would be able to pay the mortgage off with putting the money in a savings account. We are taking out a short term mortgage so we can move to a bungalow due other health conditions I have. We would have to use the pensions I think instead if anything happens to us.
I have congenital heart disease and unfortunately I haven’t been able to get life insurance. The reason is because my condition is ongoing and I will always need surgery.
If your heart condition is new you might be lucky, good luck.
