Thank you all for your considered opinions on this matter. It is a tricky one, but like many have said, I will attempt to declare it. I think that the condition I have is Atheroma. I have been using this in the medical declarations, as it seems to be the right fit. Depending on which companies you go with, the premiums are not too prohibitive. To this end, has anyone used any of the companies listed above ? Any to recommend ? or steer clear of? ... Thanks & regards

Travel Insurance 2

Hi I haven't used any of them I use insurancewith.com , I was worried about travel insurance as well as everything else I have I had cancer surgery in February but thankfully they were fine with it and I managed to get an annual policy. Char
I use All Clear . But fortunately not had to claim , so can’t say how good they are.
I have travel Insurance through my bank account ..Nat West ..who have changed to Allianz..had to pay extra for age and AF with HF.I found the order you answered questions made a difference. Also number of times you visit AE ..so I was sent by Gp for suspected AF ..but they also found HF.So that was only a visit for AF …but if I put visit for HF counted as two visits..if you see what I mean..
morning. Please stay do not use Coverwise / AXA. I had purchased my annual travel insurance with them last year. My husband then suffered a HA followed by a OHCA and clearly was not fit to fly. Thankfully he’s doing really well. No previous heart issues so totally unexpected. I had an absolute nightmare trying to claim back our flights . They repeatedly asked for his last 2 years medical history. Which has provided by the doctor. Which consisted of 2 docs appointments over 2 years. It took more than 4 months to get them moving and that was only after I posted on their twitter account. So please do not use them.
I had exactly the same issue with this company. People give 5 stars on trust based on buying the insurance but they’re only as good as their claims department. Was fit and healthy when bought then found out that I had heart failure and needed valve surgery. Sent them everything. Eventually they paid out after 11 months. Think they assumed I’d go away quietly.
Absolutely shocking way to treat people who buy from you. Buying beware 😡
But more importantly I do hope you are well? All the best 😊
Thankfully post op and improving all the time. Back at work (phased return) and planning this year’s survivor holiday. 🤞
Thanks for the good wishes. Pleased your husband is doing well too. Xx
I’ve used stay sure twice. Didn’t have to claim but it was reasonably priced .
